After a long wait, Google has finally allowed Indian developers to sell paid applications in the Google Play. Starting today, Indian app developers can sell paid applications, in-app products, and

subscriptions in Google Play, with monthly payouts to their local bank accounts.

This news comes less than a month after Google mistakenly added India to its paid app list, only to remove it later. This is certainly great news for Indian developers. πŸ™‚

To start selling paid applications in Google Play store, all you have to do is create a Google Play dev account, if you don’t already have one, and then create a merchant account in Google Checkout.

We hope that this incentive brings more developers forward to create even cooler apps and games. πŸ™‚
